Project Idea
Connecting Green Square
Sustainable Sydney 2030 establishes Green Square as a leading example of environmental, social and economic sustainability. It aims to build on the strengths of adjoining neighbourhoods and ensure environmental improvement in renewal areas also improves the environmental performance of the City as a whole.

- Achieve environmental sustainability
- Ensure renewal areas are integrated with the existing city areas
- Respond to Sydney’s changing population and demographic
- Develop a clear, city-wide vision to guide individual project development
- Recognise the role of streets, parks and squares in public life
