Community Profile
Community Profile
The City of Sydney Community Profile includes results from the 2006, 2001, 1996 and 1991 Censuses of Population and Housing. It provides demographic information on the residents of the City of Sydney, for the whole LGA and for each suburb. A profile of Metropolitan Sydney is provided for comparison.
The Community Profile is designed to inform community groups, Council, investors, businesses, students and the general public. To achieve this, the Community Profile is formatted to present the data in simple, clear tables and charts with concise factual commentary.
Community Profiles have also been included for the Council's nine Local Action Plan Areas - Central Business, City East, City West, Inner East, Inner West, South East, South West and North West precincts.
