Types of Cycleways

 

The City of Sydney is building a 200km cycle network across the entire City area.

We have designed the network to improve connections between employment, recreation and residential destinations to make cycling an attractive and safe transport choice.

By increasing the number of bicycle riders we will reduce road congestion, cut emissions and improve public health.

The network itself will consist of various types of cycleways and intersection treatments including:
