Business Crime Prevention Forums
The City of Sydney, in partnership with NSW Police host a series of Crime Prevention Forums each year to help business owners minimise crime in and around their workplace.
The Safe City Strategy 2007-2012 is the City’s overarching framework for the City of Sydney and its partners to tackle a range of crime and safety issues affecting both the Central Business District and urban villages. The focus of the strategy is crime prevention and investing in building and strengthening our communities.
Each forum aims to inform small, local business operators and employees about:
- Preventing shoplifting, fraud, robbery, assault, break and enter, internal fraud and credit card crime
- Designing a safer workplace
- Crime Prevention strategies for businesses
- Common risks and how to minimise them
- Information on “know your rights"
