The City of Sydney proudly presents its first Let’s Talk Business series, covering a range of key topics critical to small and medium sized businesses wanting to maximise their potential in our fast paced, global city.

Featuring expert, renowned and respected speakers, it’s your opportunity to take away valuable information, and to network with like-minded businesspeople.

The four seminars have been designed to complement each other and to work separately.

Seminar Two - Marketing Matters.

At this fascinating seminar, Speakers Dr Kim Houghton & Linda Hailey studied the local market trends, imparting  practical information to assist business owners to make the most of all marketing opportunities  available to them.

Economist Dr Kim Houghton is well known for his insights into trends and his practical approach to the numbers game of statistics.  Small business author and presenter, Linda Hailey has a reputation for taking the mystery out of marketing with her 'no nonsense' approach to growing  small  business.  The two presented an enlightening journey into the wonders of statistics, challenging some general assumptions.    

Their commonsense, jargon free approach to economic, social, business and population trends helped  our seminar  attendees think further about achieving marketing and business success in 2008 and beyond!
