Vehicular Crossing (Driveway) Applications

Upon receipt of your application for a vehicular crossing, Council needs to establish whether permission for a crossing from the kerb to the property boundary will be granted. There are design considerations and traffic and pedestrian concerns which will be addressed in the evaluation process. You can download a Vehicular Crossing Application Form as a PDF document.

A prerequisite is that access to the property must already exist or have been approved by a previous development consent from Council.

A quotation for the cost of the work to be done by Council will be forwarded if approval is given. You then have the option to undertake the construction with your own contractor, to Council specifications, or pay the fee quoted, for Council to do the work.
