Environmental Grants Program
The Environmental Grants Program provides funding over $5000 to support projects that provide a clear environmental benefit to the City community by delivering services, activities or resources that result in direct environmental improvements and/or develop knowledge, skills and confidence in the community to encourage environmental improvement within the City of Sydney area.
Projects that are supported are those that complement the City’s own Environmental Management Plan and that creatively engage the community in improving the state of the environment – for further details refer to the City of Sydney Environment website.
The Environmental Grants Program is an annual program for which applications are accepted once a year. This program is currently closed, and will reopen in February 2009, closing April 2009 for projects occurring between 1 October 2009 and 30 September 2010.
