Local Community Grants Program

Applications Now Open: Closing 6pm Monday 22 September 2008

The Local Community Grants Program provides funding up to $5000 per project to support work done by local community organisations based in, or providing events or services for, the City of Sydney Local Government Area.

The whole City of Sydney benefits greatly from work done by community organisations as their services, resources, events, projects, cultural experiences and community based activities enrich the life of the City.

The Local Community Grants Program is open for application twice a year, Round 2 will open in August 2008.

Local Community Grants Round 2 2008/2009 funding is for projects which occur between Sunday 1 February 2009 and Wednesday 30 September 2009.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application, by mail by January 2009.
