Youth Services

The City of Sydney values the energy and vitality young people contribute to the city and seeks to support them through a variety of youth initiatives.

Youth Strategy
The City of Sydney Youth Strategy was developed in partnership with members of the City of Sydney Youth Interagency and the city’s young people.

Youth Partnership Programs
The City of Sydney runs a number of innovative youth partnership programs that aim to address the identified need of the young people throughout the local government area.

City of Sydney Youth Centres
The City of Sydney youth centres run recreational and educational programs for young people living in different localities in the local government area. The centres are located in Erskineville, Millers Point, Pyrmont, Redfern and Woolloomooloo. The City of Sydney also runs a youth program in Glebe.

Lights Camera Action
An innovative program that provides young Indigenous people living in the City of Sydney with the chance to gain new skills and explore employment possibilities in theatre, film and television.

School Holiday Program
The City of Sydney Youth Centres run a number of School Holiday Activities both centred based and community based.
