Woolloomooloo Youth Program provides cultural, employment, educational and recreational programs for young people aged 11 to 24 years living in the Woolloomooloo area.
Woolloomooloo Youth Program works closely with Woolloomooloo PCYC in the delivery of programs and activities.
Activities are offered five days a week during school term at either the Juanita Nielson Community Centre or Woolloomooloo PCYC with a mix of day time and evening activities including drop in, arts and crafts, Oz tag competitions and dance classes. Young people also have access to computers, the internet, play station, table tennis, a pool table and TV video facilities.
Woolloomooloo Youth Program also works with young people to address immediate needs and developing long term goals to assist them to become more socially, economically and emotionally independent and responsible members of their community. The Centre can act as an advocate for young people and provide them with access to educational facilities, Centrelink, Youth Accommodation, casework/counselling and other referral services.

Youth Team Leaders can be contacted for an appointment or information on term programs on their mobile between 10am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
School Holiday Program (11 - 19)
School holiday programs which run at the Juanita Nielsen Community Centre include arts, crafts, cooking, DVD and pizza nights, sporting activities and excursions such as Jamberoo Recreation Park, beach and movies, Luna Park - all at a minimal cost.
