Committees

Members and functions of City of Sydney Council Committees.

Central Sydney Planning Committee
The Central Sydney Planning Committee was established by the State Government in September 1988 to exercise the functions of the City Council in relation to the determination of applications for major developments.

Corporate, Finance, Properties and Tenders Committee
The City of Sydney Corporate, Finance, Properties and Tenders Committee deals with all matters relating to Finance, Industrial Relations, Tenders and more.

Environment and Heritage Committee
The Environment and Heritage Committee is responsible for dealing with all matters relating to Parks and Open Spaces, Graffiti Removal, History and Heritage Projects and other environmental issues within the City of Sydney LGA.

Cultural and Community Services Committee
The Cultural and Community Services Committee has been established to deal with all things relating to Arts, Events Programs, Community Housing and more.

Planning Development and Transport Committee
The Planning and Transport Committee Exists to excersise functions such as the Design of City of Sydney projects, Transportand Access initiatives, Urban Infrastructure and others.

Policies and Procedures of Committees
The Policies and Procedures surrounding City of Sydney Council Committees.

Traffic Committee
The function of the Traffic Committee is to advise the City of Sydney Council on any proposal concerning a traffic control facility.
