The City of Sydney is committed to delivering innovative urban design projects that improve the quality and scope of the public domain for residents, workers and visitors.

Eveleigh Precinct Park Upgrade
City of Sydney has upgraded 3 parks in the Eveleigh Street Precinct: Yellowmundee Park, Hugo Street Reserve and Pemulwuy Park. 

Frog Hollow Reserve, Surry Hills
Frog Hollow Reserve is located on the corner of Albion and Riley Street in Surry Hills, up to 8m below the adjacent streets. The upgrade has improved access and created a variety of spaces for public enjoyment.

Glebe Foreshore
The City is realising the long-held dream of the Glebe community for a continuous foreshore promenade around the Glebe Peninsula.

Harmony Park, Surry Hills
The City has created a much needed new open green space in this densely populated precinct, suitable for relaxation, recreation and community use.

Oxford Street
The City is working with the local community to introduce improvements to Oxford Street that will restore and enhance its popular appeal.

Paddington Reservoir Gardens
The Walter Read landscape upgrade will reopen a valuable public open space closed since the early 1990’s. The upgrade will increase local public open space in the area and celebrate the historical significant of the reservoir structure.

Redfern Park Upgrade
The City has recently completed a $32 million upgrade to create a quality recreation facility at Redfern Park.

Surry Hills Library & Community Centre
The City’s newest, greenest community facility is complete and open for the public to enjoy.

The Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre
The Ultimo community is the location for the new Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre designed by Harry Seidler and Associates.

Turruwul Park & Tarakan Reserve, Rosebery
The City has completed the upgrade of Turruwul Park Rosebery. The upgrade improved the existing park layout, amenity and facilities.

Waterloo Skate Park
A new urban skate park was installed to replace dilapidated facilities at Waterloo Skate Park.
