Balfour Street Park
The closure of Balfour Street at O'Connor Street provides the opportunity to create a pocket park, linking Chippendale and the future development of the former Carlton United Breweries site.
Beare Park
Council advises that a new playground fence will be erected around the Beare Park playground to improve the safety and enjoyment of users of the playground.
Fitzroy Gardens and Lawrence Hargrave Reserve
From the Local Action Plan for City east, priority was given to refreshing the Fitzroy Gardens and Lawrence Hargrave area by creating more green space for rest and play.
Foley Park
Foley Park at the corner of Glebe Point Road and Bridge Road is the largest local park in the centre of Glebe.

Future works to the park will establish an improved park landscape of greater environment stability and with wider recreation opportunity.
