Section 61 Contributions
Under Section 61 of The City of Sydney Act, building projects in Central Sydney exceeding $200,000 must make a cash contribution to Council amounting to 1 per cent of the total development cost.
Known as Section 61 contributions, these monies assist the City of Sydney in the provision of public infrastructure, community projects and facilities.

Contribution Payment Information
Development Contribution rates may be adjusted when payment is due in accordance with the relevant Contributions Plan. Prior to making any payment for Section 94 or Section 61, you must contact:
