Digital Copies of Development Applications

The City of Sydney requires digital copies of plans and supporting documentation to be submitted with all Development, Section 82A and Section 96 Applications.

Part of the City's commitment to continuous improvement and accessible information, the initiative will enable:

  • plans and documentation to be electronically displayed during the exhibition of DA's
  • planners to extract relevant excerpts into assessment reports
  • easier copying of information during exhibition, to meet the City of Sydney’s statutory requirements.

During the notification period, documents and plans lodged with the above applications will be available to the public to view and/or copy, subject to legislative requirements, at the nearest Council Location.

For small developments valued at under $100,000, the City will offer a scanning service for a fee, as per the current Schedule of Fees and Charges.
