Ashmore Precinct
The Ashmore Precinct is located in Erskineville and is bounded by Ashmore Street, Mitchell Road, Coulson St and the Bankstown rail line.
Barangaroo
Barangaroo, a NSW Government project, will see the site divided into parkland, low-rise residential, commercial and civic buildings and a high-rise retail, corporate and housing precinct. The City of Sydney has concerns regarding aspects of the proposal by Lend Lease to amend the approved concept plan for Barangaroo South.
Central Park development (formerly Frasers Broadway and CUB)
Situated on the fringe of the CBD, this site, owned by Frasers Property, is now known as Central Park. The site offers exciting opportunities for an environmentally sustainable mixed use development.
Harold Park
The Council has adopted planning controls for urban renewal of the former Harold Park Paceway and former Rozelle Tram Depot site in Glebe. Redevelopment of the site will deliver 3.8ha of new public parkland, 500 square metres of community space in the Tram Sheds, restoration of the Tram Sheds and about 1250 new homes, including affordable and sustainable housing.
Redfern - Waterloo Draft Built Environment Plan 2 (BEP2)
The City of Sydney has undertaken a comprehensive review of the draft planning study referred to as the Redfern-Waterloo Draft Built Environment Plan Stage 2, which aims to revitalize two key housing estates in Redfern and Waterloo.
Woolloomooloo Improvements Plan
The Woolloomooloo Improvements Plan is an initiative flowing out of the City’s work on Local Action Plans. The Plan is being developed through a comprehensive consultation and planning process that commenced in December, 2006. It will identify a range of improvements in Woolloomooloo.
Green Square development
The vision for Green Square is to transform the area into an attractive, vibrant and sustainable urban place, with a diverse mix of housing, open spaces, offices, shops and facilities. At the heart of Green Square is 14 hectares of land to be developed as the Green Square Town Centre – a new major centre around the Green Square railway station.
