Wall Mounted Ashtrays

Partners are asked to assist staff, tenants and visitors by providing ashtrays for the disposal of cigarette butts. The City already supplies ashtrays in public places, but help is needed by our partners to install ashtrays on private property (please click here to see conditions for the installation of ashtrays).

Wall Mounted Ashtrays

The City currently has 125 wall mountable ashtrays available for Partners wishing to install and maintain ashtrays on their premises (Limit of one per partnership).

There is a wide selection of suppliers for ashtrays in Australia, if you require assistance in obtaining this information contact the Waste Education Team.

Where possible, please choose an ashtray with small openings for the disposal of cigarette butts only to prevent clogging by litter and possible fire hazards.

Personal Ashtrays

Personal ashtrays are available whilst stocks last from your nearest Council Location.

CHP Ashtray

Pick one up today and you'll always be able to bin your butt and help protect our environment and Sydney Harbour from butt litter. Don't be a Tosser - Bin your Butt and avoid a $200 fine.

If you are unable to install a wall mounted ashtray (e.g. heritage restrictions), personal ashtrays are good promotional item for staff and clients. There are a wide range of products on the market from film canisters with stickers on them to more sophisticated designs!
