Books
Books for loan are available in the following languages:
Chinese/中文, Indonesian/Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese/日本語, Korean/한국어, Russian/Pусский, Spanish/Español, Thai/ไทย, Turkish/Türkçe and Vietnamese/Tiếng Việt . Books in languages not available the City of Sydney Library can be ordered free of charge. Books are available in more than 40 additional languages.

Home Library Service
The Home Library Service provides a free and convenient way for homebound residents of the city to borrow library books and other items in a range of languages. Library staff will bring a fresh supply of reading material to your doorstep regularly.
Learning English
The library provides a range of English language learning resources such as language CDs, graded readers, talking books as well as English language study books (grammar, vocabulary, writing skills etc.).
Learning a Language
Travelling overseas? Studying a language? Language learning CDs, books and other resources are available to help you develop your language skills.
