Charity Partner

Each year the City of Sydney appoints an official charity partner to Sydney New Year's Eve.

Sydney New Year's Eve provides the official charity partner with the opportunity to generate awareness of their valuable work and raise funds for their programs. Previous charity partners have included Planet Ark, WWF-Australia, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and Oxfam.

The official charity partner for 2009 Sydney New Year's Eve will be announced on 8 December 2009.
