Green Bans Park 1 and 2

Green Bans Park consists of two parcels of green open spaces bisected by Albert Street. The parks featuring grass lawns and shrub beds are designated off-leash areas and are suitable for passive recreation and the exercising and socializing of smaller breeds of dogs.

In 1996 ownership of the land was transferred to the former South Sydney Council in 1996 following a campaign by local residents, unions and Council to have the land, which had previously been earmarked for development dedicated as public open space.
