Green Park

Located opposite St Vincent’s Hospital, this scenic park is one minutes retreat from Oxford Street’s vibrant Taylor Square. The park’s original ornate bandstand has been converted to a café, making it an ideal location to have lunch or take a break.

The park contains spacious grass lawns, mature trees and two memorials; The Gay and Lesbian Holocaust Memorial which commemorates gay men and lesbians killed before and during the Second World War; and a Memorial to the late surgeon Victor Chang containing a canopied drinking fountain.
