Netball is played with a round ball and two teams of seven players each on a court with scoring rings at both ends containing no backboards. Players can advance and manoeuvre the ball around the court by passing the ball to team mates and or taking a maximum of 1 and ½ steps while in possession of the ball. The court is divided into thirds which regulate where individuals in each team are allowed to move, and two semi-circular "shooting circles" at each end from within which all scoring shots must be taken.

The Object of the game is to score points by shooting the ball into your teams scoring ring (1 point per score). Physical contact is not permitted on the player in possession of the ball and a shot and or pass can’t be blocked if defender is within 3 feet of the ball carrier.
