Virtual Warrane

A virtual experience of the Cadigal people

Virtual Warrane will be on display at Customs House in Sydne from 21 March - 10 June 2007.

The exhibit is a multimedia interactive display that presents the stories and cultural knowledge of the Cadigal people of Warrane (Sydney Cove) area.

Through this 3-D interactive virtual world, users assume the role of a Cadigal person, experiencing life in and around Warrane as it was before the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788. Based on the concept of virutal worlds and computer gaming, this multimedia display is an interactive educative experience that helps you to understand the ongoing connection and spiritual links the original custodians had for Warrane.

You can guide your character through the virtual landscape of Warrane, inspired by and recreated from original artworks and historical documents. You can observe and interact with a virtual community and experience a day in the life of a Cadigal person.

Virtual Warrane has been developed by Cyberdreaming.

Virtual Warrane 21 March - 6 May 2007
