Chinese New Year Festival External Events

Along with the Chinese New Year Festival’s events, partner organisations of the 2008 Festival contributed to a calendar of 51 events over three weeks. Our event partners included many of the leaders in Sydney’s cultural life including Powerhouse Museum, Art Gallery of NSW and Sydney Film Festival. With events covering heritage, visual and performing arts, food and culture, these events celebrated Chinese New Year in ways that catered to every taste.
