About our programs

The City of Sydney’s grants and sponsorship program supports initiatives and projects that strengthen the social, cultural, economic and environmental life of the city.

Through this program the City of Sydney partners with the community and business to further the strategic directions of Sustainable Sydney 2030-2050 Continuing the Vision. These programs provide financial and in-kind support for a diverse range of activities.

Before you apply

There are a few things you should do before you’re ready to apply.

  • Read the critical information for your chosen program including the updated grants and sponsorship guidelines.
  • Make sure your project is eligible under the program you're applying for. There are strict guidelines around who can apply and when projects can occur.
  • Also, ensure your project is located in our area or provides significant benefit for the area’s residents, workers, and/or visitors.
