There are many vantage points to view the 2006 Sydney New Year's Eve celebrations on Sydney Harbour. At 9pm the traditional Family Fireworks followed by the Harbour of Light Parade will set the tone for the evening. At Midnight, Sydney becomes the New Year’s Eve Capital of the World with fireworks erupting along the Harbour from Cockatoo Island in the west to just off Point Piper in the east. This magical display will be seen from Gladesville Bridge to the Heads. Plan ahead and use the Key Vantage points Map below to locate the best position for you.
