Alan Davidson Oval sports field drainage
We’re upgrading this sports facility to make it a more enjoyable and safe space for everyone.

Works were completed in November 2023.
What we’re doing
We’re installing sports field drainage on Alan Davidson Oval in Sydney Park, which includes:
- regrading works for the oval
- trenching works for drainage pipes and pits
- installing a new sports field drainage system
- new turf and top dressing of the oval.
Works will take place Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm.
The oval will be closed during these works. The nearest sports fields to enjoy are Erskineville and Alexandria ovals.
