Upgrade to Perry Park Recreation Centre
We've improved Perry Park Recreation Centre in Alexandria to provide more opportunities for sport competitions and practice, work was completed in November 2021.

What we’re doing
We're improving Perry Park Recreation Centre in Alexandria to provide more opportunities for sport competitions and practice.
We’re enclosing and redesigning the 2 outdoor courts so they can be used in all weather conditions and cater for a greater number of sports. When works are completed the centre will have 4 indoor multipurpose courts for sports including netball, basketball, volleyball, badminton and futsal.
The centre is now open under restricted conditions of entry and reduced opening hours.
The outdoor courts will remain closed until upgrade works are completed. We will also close the centre’s Bourke Street entry, and the public car park and toilets off Bourke Street during construction.
This is due to access requirements for construction materials and equipment.
There will be some machinery noise, dust and traffic control during the work. We will take steps to minimise disruptions
