Construction work at Kent Street underpass
This walkway and bike link was upgraded to make it easier for everyone to use.
Project Status: Completed
All works have been finalised.
What we’re doing
Better sightlines and new trees and plants have made this space more appealing.
Work included:
- high-quality stone paved footpaths
- gardens and palm trees
- a wider staircase, improving access to Kent Street
- better separation between the cycleway and footpath
- improved lighting in the tunnel.
