Modify the plan of management for your business
Reflect how you propose to manage the venue.
Project Status: When you need to do this
Amending the plan will depend on the specific wording of your development consent and the part of if you intend to change.
What you need to do
-
Review the most recent development consent and current plan
While checking the conditions relevant to your venue, also review the current plan.
-
Discuss proposed modifications with the relevant area planning manager
Prior to seeking private advice or lodging an application, contact the relevant area planning manager at the City of Sydney to determine the most appropriate course of action.
-
Lodge an updated plan
Lodge an updated POM to the relevant area planning manager for review and approval if a section 4.55 development application modification (s4.55) is not required.
-
Lodge a s4.55 if development consent requires updates
Lodge a section 4.55 development application modification (s4.55) if the conditions of development consent require updating to enact the proposed modifications.
A s4.55 is not required when:
- the plan or consent condition states that updates are allowed.
A s4.55 is required when:
- an existing consent condition specifically references the current plan, for example by reference or date
- consent condition references a plan, but doesn’t specify a document.
