Many ruin-like sculptures are partially buried in a large circular area on a lawn with trees in the background.

About this program

Curated by Sally Coucaud, 10 leading Australian and international artists were invited to create works for a sculpture walk from The Domain and Royal Botanic Garden through east Circular Quay and the city streets to Martin Place.

Each artwork was site-specific, addressing the historical and cultural aspects of its location and contributing to an appreciation and understanding of the local environment, history and character.

The Sydney Sculpture Walk is featured in the free Sydney Culture Walks app.
