Cycling in the City course

The course is designed to develop the skills and confidence required to be an effective bike rider in Sydney. The course is intended for adults and children over the age of 12. Children under the age of 18 require an adult supervisor at all times. Courses run from Sydney Park.

Cycling in the City: Rusty Riders course

This course is tailored for those with lower confidence and fitness levels. The course runs at a slower pace and develops the skills and confidence required to be an effective bike rider. Find out more and book

Bike Care and Maintenance course

A 3-hour session and great starting point for anyone interested in bike repairs and maintenance. Find out more and book

1-on-1 cycling skills courses

During the 2-hour session, your instructor will teach skills and techniques for effective, safe and confident riding. This service is available to people who live or work in the City of Sydney local government area.Find out more and book.

Balance bike clinics

This is an interactive class at Sydney Park cycling Centre designed to get parents involved in their children’s learning. Bikes and helmets are provided, or you can bring your own.

Discover the safest and smoothest ways to get around your neighbourhood and the city using separated cycleways, shared paths and low-traffic streets.

Bike Helpline

Our bike helpline provides personalised advice to help you feel more confident about bike riding in our local area.

Free tune ups

Twice a week we offer free bike tune-ups on a first come, first served basis.

We hold these events around the city on Tuesdays from 4pm to 5:30pm in winter and 4:30pm to 6pm in summer, and on Thursdays from 8am to 9:30am.

Each week on Monday afternoons we post the locations on whatson.sydney. Events are weather dependent.
