Work to replace the Cutler Footway and upgrade the viaduct.

Works were completed in December 2019.
What we’re doing
Work to replace the Cutler Footway and upgrade the Burton Street viaduct is complete.
We've installed a concrete road surface on top of the bridge with an integrated footway to improve safety.
Works included:
- a wider footway for people walking
- safety barriers, lighting and signs
- repairing the viaduct arches, installing a new road deck and improving drainage.
Works were completed in December 2019.
