Fig Lane Playground upgrade
New equipment including a double swing set, play structures, rubber softfall and a nature play area.
Project Status: Completed
Work started in May 2020 and was completed in August 2020.
What we’re doing
Upgrade that will include:
- new playground equipment including a double swing set, play structures, rubber soft fall and a nature play area
- a toddler play area with shade structure
- a fenced area with a new play structure for younger children
- areas to sit and relax.
Impacts and disruptions
The playground will be closed during the works, but other parts of the park will remain open. The nearest playgrounds are:
- Wentworth Park, Wattle Street and Wentworth Park Road in Glebe
- McKee Street Reserve in Ultimo.
We’ll take steps to minimise impacts. However, there will be some machinery noise and dust.
