Works began in May 2024 and were completed in July 2024.
Some fences will remain until the end of August to protect new turf areas.
What we’re doing
We’re improving this reserve to make it a more pleasant space for everyone to enjoy.
The upgrade includes:
- improvement to existing paved areas
- improved paved connections throughout the reserve
- minor landscape works including retaining walls and low level fencing
- new park furniture
- enhanced turf area and infill plantings to gardens.
The park will be closed during the works. The nearest parks to enjoy in Darlinghurst are Womerah Gardens and Surrey Street Playground.
