Sweetacres Park: New shade sails work
We installed 2 new shade sails for the playground and sandpit in Sweetacres Park at the corner of Mentmore Avenue and Cressy Street, Rosebery.

Work to install the posts and shade sails was completed in 2016.
What we’re doing
We installed 2 new shade sails for the playground and sandpit in Sweetacres Park. The shade sails will ensure safe, high-quality play experiences for children.
Work to install the posts started on 8 September 2016 and was finished by 16 September 2016. The playground and sandpit were closed during this time.
The shade sails were put in place about 3 weeks after the posts were installed.
