Upgrading Fanny Place Playground, Surry Hills
We’re upgrading this reserve including the playground to make it a more pleasant space for everyone to enjoy.
Project Status: Completed
Works were started in April 2024 and were completed in December 2024.
The park will reopen in early 2025 to allow plantings to grow.
We’ve developed a design for the park based on your feedback.
What we’re doing
The upgrade includes:
- installing a children’s playground
- renewing gardens and grass areas
- building fencing
- improving seating.
The park will be closed during the works. The nearest parks to enjoy in Surry Hills are Arthur Street Reserve and Shannon Reserve.
