Passenger is an immersive theatre work that takes place inside a moving suburban bus. Departing from an ordinary Pyrmont bus stop, you'll gaze at the passing Sydney streets as you overhear a conversation between 2 fellow passengers.
Referencing Western films where cowboys respond to a lawless world, Passenger explores the ethics of our contemporary world and the impact of holding people accountable for their actions. A mysterious female character entices a male passenger to divulge the unethical actions of his corporate employer. What results is a dramatic departure from traditional theatre.
First seen in Melbourne and acclaimed in its 2019 London premiere, Passenger is “a brilliantly crafted story that thrusts you into a live-action cinematic experience” (Arts Hub).
