Your feedback on the proposed design for Josephson Street Reserve, Paddington
We’re installing seats, planting new gardens and repairing paving.
What we’re doing
We plan to make improvements to the reserve at Josephson street, Paddington.
The proposal for Josephson Street reserve includes:
- installing 4 bench seats
- installing street gardens on Flinders and Josephson streets
- relocation of bollards to prevent illegal parking
- removal of a declining Box Elder tree
- paving repairs
- potential for a community-led mural at the corner of Josephson and Flinders streets
Why we’re doing this
This is part of our parks upgrade program where over the next 10 years we’ll upgrade more than 60 parks across our area, from small pocket parks to larger local parks
We’re asking local community groups and residents for their feedback on the concept design. We’re interested in understanding who uses the current playground, what works and what doesn’t. We’d also like to hear any ideas you have for the new playground.
Next steps
We’ll report all feedback and design changes to Council and continue to a detailed design. We’ll keep you updated on the progress of this project.
