Roads and Maritime Services widened Euston and Campbell roads to accommodate the WestConnex motorway. This road widening resulted in significant tree removals, demolished park facilities including public toilets and the wider access and features of the park.
These proposed works are part of the Sydney Park improvement project.
This project will see new entry and frontage treatments along Euston and Campbell roads, including new plants and park infrastructure. The design will enhance the safety, functionality and features of the park boundary for people walking and riding bikes, and park visitors.

These works will require the removal of 1 small tree.
The new toilet block will be designed in the same way as existing facilities in Sydney Park. It will be a safe and accessible facility for people visiting the park. The design will integrate with the surrounding wetlands landscape while servicing the nearby barbecue area.

The proposal has minimal impacts to 2 surrounding trees and will require the removal of 1 small tree.
