What we’re doing
We propose to replace the current shade sails with 4 new sails in two 2 locations in the playground – over the swings and the sandpit. The shade sails will provide a cooler, more enjoyable play experience for children.
The expanded park will connect to The Crescent at Johnstons Creek in Annandale and parks and open spaces along the Glebe foreshore.
This proposal is an addendum to the previously approved review of environmental factors for improvements to Federal Park.
Why we’re doing this
The proposal is part of an upgrade to the playground in Federal Park, Forest Lodge, with a focus on inclusive play for children of all ages and abilities.

We will report all feedback to Council. We will keep you updated on the progress of this project.
