The upgrade includes new playgrounds, gardens and seating.
Project Status: Closed
Contributions to this consultation are closed for evaluation and review. The project team will report back on key outcomes.
What we’re doing
We plan to make improvements to the Maureen Oliver Reserve:
- New playgrounds featuring timber play elements, balance beams, steppers and 2 distinct play spaces
- Updated gardens with infill planting
- New designed pathway
- Park seating made from recycled plastics
- Repair of existing garden stone wall
Why we’re doing this
This is part of our parks upgrade program where over the next 10 years we’ll upgrade more than 60 parks across the City of Sydney’s area, from small pocket parks to larger local parks.
We’re asking local community groups and residents for their feedback on the concept design. We’re interested in understanding who uses the current playground, what works and what doesn’t. We’d also like to hear any ideas you have for the new playground.
Next steps
We’ll report all feedback and design changes to Council and continue to a detailed design. We’ll keep you updated on the progress of this project.
How you can give feedback
