Your feedback on upgrading Jubilee Oval public toilets

Project Status: Under review

Public consultation period to

We plan to replace the public toilet buildings at Jubilee Oval, Glebe. The new toilet building will provide a modern and hygienic facility for everyone to use.

The existing buildings in poor condition will be replaced with a consolidated modern and accessible facility on the western side of Jubilee Oval. We aim to maximise open space and provide an upgraded facility for people visiting the park.

Works include:

  • removing 3 buildings surrounding the oval no longer fit for purpose - Jubilee west toilets, the Jubilee east toilets and the umpire’s building
  • 4 all-gender individual toilet cubicles
  • one all-gender ambulant toilet cubicle
  • one all-gender accessible toilet cubicle with baby change table
  • communal external hand wash basin
  • minor landscaping and remediating demolished sites.

Existing public toilet facilities east of the oval will be open during construction and then demolished.

In the background, an arched railway viaduct with a red train and cyclists passing through is visible. A small modern building with wooden paneling sits near the arches, surrounded by people walking and standing. The scene is sunny, with birds flying overhead and a clear blue sky.
