Your feedback on Ward Park, Surry Hills
We’d like to hear any ideas you have for the park.
Project Status: Under review
Contributions to this consultation are closed for evaluation and review. The project team will report back on key outcomes.
What we’re doing
We plan to upgrade Ward Park in Surry Hills. Your input will help us develop the concept design.
The park has a colourful history and is named after Eddie Ward, a former City of Sydney alderman and firebrand member of NSW parliament.
Why we’re doing this
We’re currently upgrading more than 35 parks across the City of Sydney’s area, from small pocket parks to larger neighbourhood parks.
We’re asking local community groups and residents for their input before we develop a concept design. We’re interested in understanding who uses the area, what works and what doesn’t. We’d also like to hear any ideas you have for the space.
Next steps
Later this year we’ll invite further community feedback on the concept design.
