What we’re doing
Following a public expression of interest, we propose to grant a lease to City North Men’s Shed at the Abraham Mott Community Space, 2 Watson Road, Millers Point.
The proposed lease will allow City North Men’s Shed to promote mental health through social participation and education for all through craftwork.
Programs will be developed by City North Men’s Shed and local community groups to enable continued community access to the space. Charitable activities will also be held that benefit the broader community.
The proposed lease starts in January 2025 for a period of up to 4.5 years.
You can view the area leased in the plan of the premises. The outdoor spaces don’t form part of the lease. This remains public land.
