Your say on making Little Queen Street and Teggs Lane in Chippendale one-way
We’re proposing to make these streets one-way eastbound from Abercrombie Street to Balfour Street.

What we’re doing
We’re proposing to change Little Queen Street and Teggs Lane, Chippendale to one-way eastbound from Abercrombie Street to Balfour Street. We will also install speed humps to reduce speeds along these streets.
The proposal would restrict vehicles coming from Regent Street to access Abercrombie Street as a shortcut route. It would also improve traffic flow, ensure access for adjoining residents and improve safety for people walking.
Next steps
We will consider all feedback and report the results to the Local Pedestrian, Cycling and Traffic Calming Committee, for consideration at its meeting on Thursday 19 October 2023.
