Artwork description

The Jar by Tim Perritt is made from reconstructed granite and represents the universal theme of life.

Carved by hand over 9 months, each face of the artwork bears shapes that symbolise those phases of time which are eternal.

The sculpture sits on a square concrete base. It’s been relocated from Forbes Street, Darlinghurst and then Taylor Square.
