Visit a library
Public computers are available at all 9 library branches during opening hours.
All computers use Windows 11, Microsoft 365 and the latest Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox web browsers. Adobe Creative Suite is available at all branches except Town Hall.
Laptops are available to borrow in the libraries except at Ultimo, Waterloo and Town Hall.
Accessible large print keyboards and trackballs are available as well as magnifying and screen reading software, with ability to change language settings.
You can use your own USB or purchase one from the library to save, print or scan. You can also scan and save to email.
Public computers in children's areas, not at Ultimo, Waterloo and Town Hall House, have increased web filtering and child-friendly software. Titles include Minecraft Education, Code Monkey, ABC Reading Eggs (Teacher’s version), Mathletics and NSW Foundation Fonts for handwriting that children can use their personal accounts to access.
Access up to 3 hours free by scanning your membership card.
