Report sick and injured wildlife
If you come across an animal that is in distress or injured, call your local wildlife rescue group to find out what you can do.
Project Status: When you need to do this
City living can be difficult for local wildlife, and occasionally animals become sick, injured or orphaned. If you come across an animal that is in distress or injured, there's help close at hand.
What you need to do
Call your local wildlife rescue group, whose volunteers specialise in rescuing and caring for our native animals, and they will let you know what you can do or will send a volunteer if they can.
For help with an injured animal, you can contact:
- Sydney Wildlife on 02 9413 4300
