Project Status: When you need to do this
If your red (rubbish), yellow (recycling), green (organics) or maroon (food waste) bin lid, wheels or body are damaged or missing, you can have it repaired or replaced. You can request a replacement for a missing bin.
Ask your building manager to make the request if you live in an apartment.
If you want to add another bin, upsize or downsize a bin, or remove a bin you'll need to use a different form.

Prepare your bins
- Place your bins at the usual collection point the night before.
- Please stick a note on bins we need to repair or replace. This helps our team to easily identify them.
Before you start
- Identify which bin your request is for. We will need to know the bin lid colour and the size of the bin. You can check the size of your bins on the bin rim under the lid.
- Requests must be received by 2pm the business day before the next regular bin collection date or else they will be scheduled for the following week.
If the scheduled bin collection day falls on a public holiday, your delivery or repair will be on the next business day.
